The two men have sailed to the orchard and one of them is taking an axe to the trees while the other cools his heels in the sea.

Here's a little collection of drawings, exploring concepts for characters that might, at some point be turned into paintings. This one is inspired by classical herm's, but I'm playing around, and using cones instead of the rectangular blocks of classical antiquity.
